When Marla retired, she wanted to transform her home—after all, she will be spending much more time there in the coming years. The 35-year-old house had never been remodeled; with outdated finishes and a less-than-ideal layout, it needed thoughtful changes to provide additional comfort and convenience. Our construction process needed to be thoughtful as well, as Marla lived in the house during the project. We worked in phases, modernizing finishes and reconfiguring the layout of the kitchen and master bathroom. Today, it’s a stylish yet welcoming space, perfect for entertaining, relaxing, and savoring the rewards of retirement.
