Elaine and her partner love to cook together, but when she moved to Seattle, the 1980s kitchen in her home just didn’t work: Both the layout and the 1980s design were seriously dated. We opened things up, providing ample space for two to maneuver while adding functionality and design flair with custom cabinets and a modern island with seating. We also maintained a temporary kitchen so they could still cook at home during the project. An updated bathroom and laundry area both feature the same aesthetic as the kitchen, with a new tile shower and upgraded storage.
