During the job, I was impressed with Brian’s attention to detail and high standards. He insisted that all work be done well even if it meant that it had to be repeated. Brian also kept to our agreed-upon budget. Any additions were my choice. All work was on schedule as my remodel was their main job during the three months of the summer. I lived in my house during the remodel and the workers were considerate and cleaned up at the end of the day.

Brian Tschider and Cobalt Construction did a wonderful job on remodeling our unfinished basement. Brian was responsive to any questions or concerns we had during the remodel and kept us informed of any issues that arose. On at least two occasions Brian had a sub-contractor redo or repair work that he felt was of poor quality. Our architect was impressed with his attention to detail and the time he spent to really understand the blueprints and drawings. And we stayed within budget! We would definitely work with Cobalt Construction again and would recommend them to anybody looking to remodel their home.

We went from a completely unfinished, cold, spidery basement accessed by a very steep stairway to a beautiful, usable space. Our job was completed on schedule, on bid, and without any surprises. Brian Tschider is unfailingly honest and fair, and professional. We always felt like Brian had our best interests at heart, and that we were working as a team to get to a result we would all be proud of. Brian's attention to detail and his commitment to quality are extraordinary. This was a very big job; Brian and his crew were here for six months, and we had ample opportunity to observe because we lived in the house the entire time. We were so pleased with the result that we now consider Cobalt Construction to be ''our'' contractor—whenever we need anything done on our house, we call on Brian.

We think we succeeded with every aspect of our vision.

We first hired Cobalt for a large remodel on our home in Greenlake that not only was on time and budget, and due to the quality of workmanship, our house sold very quickly and over the asking price. We again hired Cobalt for an extensive remodel of our large Capitol Hill home. Again, they provided superior workmanship. As with the first remodel, this was done within the time frame indicated and to budget. We would surely recommend Cobalt to anyone wanting quality, craftsmanship, honesty, attention to detail, insight and a finished product that one could be proud of.

We’ve used Cobalt Construction on four separate remodeling projects of various scope and size over a span of seven years. Our vision was to update our family home into a more pleasant, stylish and functional living space for all. Brian has proven to be a trusted contractor that delivers beyond expectations. He is committed to providing a final product that incorporates attention to detail, utility and cost. Brian also brings an element of design insight which is unique for a general contractor. We recommend Cobalt Construction to any homeowner considering a remodel.

Cobalt exhibited great care toward our joint project. At each stage Cobalt brought professional and conscientious input and experience and when unanticipated circumstances arose, proved to be a valuable partner in the problem-solving effort.
